A very romantic view, the most restful and peacefull vieuw of Bruges. It is situated in a green zone with lots of old trees and a very old castle along the lac.

A beautiful and romantic spot wher the swans and other aquatic birds greet visitors entering the city from the south. It is one of the enduring beauties of a medieval world still remaining.

This is one of the reasons why Ralph Fienne's character from the movie In Bruges calls Bruges "a fairytale [bleeping] town." The lake is a wonderfully picturesque location (relatively) far from the madding crowds of the town proper. An excellent stop for a picture or...More

This is a great location for strolling and enjoying the canals and green grass, it is also a great place to start your run around the city if this is something you like doing.

Admittedly the weather wasn't great when we visited (May 21st-23rd) but the rain didn't stop us exploring this charming city. Minnewater Lake is a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the centre and provides lovely scenic views of the surrounding areas. Don't miss...More

Bruges is mostly a romantic medieval town, but a walk with your loved one around the lake is giving you thrill. Take your time and enjoy the evening lights

This is a beautiful and peaceful part of Bruges. I missed it on my first trip but happened upon it on this trip when I walked to the train station. Definitely worth a visit.

I'm going to bruges for a day and I'd like to know what's best to do in such short time? We'll be staying in a hotel very near to bruges station so how far are the walks and also how do we get to this lake? We will be doing the boat tour hopefully but we would also like to visit this lake. Thank you
