not cheap or for the faint hearted the sample plank at 32 euros but it had to be done. The waiter was great with his designer holey jumper explained the lagers and gave us a book with all the details in except number six which is plain lager and the least favourite of the four of us. on the way... We had the tasting paddle and it was great fun. It comes with tasting notes (rather like wine) and the bartender was great at helping us work out which were our favourites. It had a great atmosphere as well - by the end of the night it felt like the whole bar was talking to each other. We'll definitely go... More

Found this bar on an evening walk. We loved it and great barman - Vincent! We tried a cherry beer and had a sharing platter. Thank you

They only serve draft beers but House Beer. Beer tasting including 12 kinds of beers costs €32. Worth to try Bourgogne des Flanders Brune with a sharp sweety taste and bitter accents.

A mate and I popped in here to savour the delights on damp Sunday afternoon. We only tried the Lupus Hibernatus, which was a delightful bevy, the price however at €5.20 was a little on the steep side to cause us to remain for a second offering. This is a really quirky bar which was great to experience. Would I... More

This bar was next to our hotel so seemed rude not to pop in. What a fantastic place. Great beer tasting paddles, excellent staff and good interaction between customers. Never before met a 'baron' whilst travelling! Will definitely call in again before we return home.

Well, we came across this little gem by chance on our recent trip! Decided to share the beer tasting between 2 of us( 10 different beers for 32eur) We got a couple of strange looks from the group of 6 men sharing theirs but us ladies decided to go for it :) We had such a lovely time here, Vinny... Popped in for a quick drink before getting the bus back, quirky little pub with good beer. Shame we wasn't there for longer or I would have been tempted to try the 12 beers special.

Been her lots of times over the years and luckily this year our hotel was right beside it. The place is fun and quirky with a good selection of beers. We visited every day on our 3 day trip and it was incredibly busy. The place however is made by the incredible guy behind the bar Vincent. Great fun and... More
