Organizers worked hard to make our experience a great one. The arena was heated in the stands. The concession served delicious food at a reasonable rate. Cinnamon buns were huge and enjoyable as were their homemade soups and buns. Wraps were offered also.There was lots to do besides hockey. Badminton, running track, basketball. I attended a conference/meeting there in June 2015. The building is great and well kept. The person on staff was helpful and friendly. There was a lot space for the meeting in gym area, but the acoustics were poor and it was hard to hear the speakers over the noise of the fans. For smaller meetings I am sure the... More

As a recreational facility, it is there to have things done in it, there are several programs available. The place is clean, well maintained and the town has a positive attitude about it. More community's could learn about co-operation and develop refreshing attitudes that make a "experience" so to speak.
