A visit to the cathedral is worthwhile. It's worth noting that quite a few things are in the museum round the corner.

Fantastic visit. We went up on the roof and the experience of being high up on the gently sloping roof of a cathedral was quite amazing. I felt this was the best thing we did in Evora, although seeing the aqueduct was also brilliant.

The Cathedral here is as grand as the one in Silves but largely better decorated. This is not a lengthy stop, but worthwhile to visit.

There are more interesting churches in Evora, but none more imposing. Pop your head in and have a look; I forget whether or not there is a fee to enter. There is a museum attached and there is a fee for that.
