This castle houses a little bit of everything. It has Roman and Visogothic items in the patio, great views from the walls and an entrance that is unique in all the world. It is a great place to visit around sunset.

If you want a real feel of Portugal and the alentejo this is a must, beautiful views, excellent food and just an overall good vibe. We were a small group 10-12 of us and we enjoyed it.

Not very well advertised but looked as if we got in there it would have been worthwhile. I suggest that if you intend to visit you double check before hand.
