A great piece of Mother Nature’s work of art. The hike down is a little tricky with little children but doable. The views on the cliffs and in the canyon are breathtaking. We took the “boardwalk” to get there.

One of my fave places. So authentic. The best unique location and I love the Chefs salads. Great dessert too!

It doesn't get better than this place. Fantastic sea views, quiet but only a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants etc. Spotless clean & staff can't do enough to help. Their own restaurant & bar excellent. Would recommend to any one. John & Carol

Great to walk the "broadwalk", head down the steps to explore the rocks and blowholes, before a beer at the bar nestled among the rocks. A must visit place.

My favourite place I have visited! The views were spectacular. We spent hours climbing over, around and through rocks. The formations were amazing, scary in places but absolutely amazing. The best part is it is free.. We climbed the cliff and watched all the boats...More

The boardwalk at Algar Seco is free and there are clifftop walks beyond the Boneca bar. The walk down the hill into Carvoeiro has lovely sea views all the way - but it is a steep walk back! While in Carvoeiro, it is worth... More

Yes Ferraguda is worth a visit. There a regular water taxi from there to Portsmouth. Just 10 minutes travel but we'll worth it. Benajil is also close by with a huge cave you can explore

There are concrete steps! For 8 years, is ok, just be carefull with him when down by the sea, can be slippery! Please note there are few good steps, definetly when you coming back:) but is worth the efort!!!enjoy!!
