Providing you have a map it is a good way to spend a morning. It is particularly good when there is a Sunday market in Largo de Sao Pedro. We particularly recommend the museum and the cathedral.

Not a lot of tourists and not that much to ser. Small, but charming. Full of restaurantes. Narrow streets and orange trees. Feels like it has a lot of unused potential.

Nice stroll through Old Town. Not much to see, but made for a comfortable break from the beach. Jut a word of caution: everything, even the churches, close between 1 and 3.

We have visited faro quite a few times. A lot of people just arrive at the airport and head towards the holiday resorts of albuferria but I would recommend stopping in faro for the day. Great restaurants and the shopping is really good as well....More

Just a lovely down, clean and well preserved. Great for wandering around losing yourself while stopping for a drink or walking with Gelato. The walls surrounding it are impressive too.

Very nice to walk around the old town, along the harbour and into the square, to see the storks over the entrance. Oranges on the trees outside the church, and have a coffee and watch the world go by.

Try the city sightseeing bus it's less than €20 for 24 hours and goes from Albufeira to the marina, to beaches and olhos de agua
