After 4 visits to faro i love this town,great shopping, great atmosphere,interesting coastline.Well worth at least a days visit if you are visiting the area especially when the lilacs are on the trees,its very pretty,dont pass it by!

Very nice old city, a relaxing place with nice view over Ria Formosa. Good restaurants to try the delicious portuguese gastronomy.

Stayed for one day and night. Very nice in the cultural & shopping quarters but can be fully explored in that time so wouldn’t want to stay for much longer.

must have this on your agenda; beautiful, beautiful old town! The Cathedral is so beautiful, and so many artifacts that you will not want to miss. Cobble stone roads, good restaurants, I loved it.

Faro is a great place to stay. You can get to the beach and visit the old town. There is the new MAR shopping centre near Loule and Loule town is a great place to visit
