Our fourth year here of many more. We visit off season in Oct/Nov and often feel like we are the only folks around. Early morning walks on the beach can no be beat. If you are lucky you may see the fishermen bringing in the...More

Lagos has a few beaches, but Meia Praia is the main one. A few kilometers long sandy beach. Easy accessable and at walking distance from the center of Lagos town. A few small restaurants are situated on this beach. Ideal location for 'sun-lovers' and 'walkers'.

This beach is great unspoilt 5KM long with life guards restaurants, toilets and sun shades. The water is shallow as the beach is long and flat.

In October the beach was quiet. 50 yards to closest people and that is the town end. But the sun is still out. The sand was much better than the cove beaches and no boats / kayaks going by to annoy you every few minutes...More

Walked along this beach one morning. a good place for sunbathers but a little boring compared to the other beaches nearer town. sandy dunes but no cliffs or grottos ( caves) or interesting rocks. Far end is for "au natural" sunbathers if that is your...More

Good beach, not overrun with people. Would recommend this location for beach sunbathing if you are in or around Lagos.

This beach is excellent for a long walk as it extends a long way east of Lagos town centre. Waves seemed pretty rough but it could have been an extra windy day. Not so sure about bathroom facilities for a day long visit as I...More

Amazing this large sandy and sunny Beach. For long walks, runs, play with our kids in or out of the warm waters... Excellent!

The biggest sandy beach in Lagos, this was our favourite as it was located directly across the road from our hotel. It is a little out of town but well worth it, plenty of life guards, and activities to do such as water skiing, and...More

With the cove beaches to the west of Lagos getting more press, Meia Praia maybe gets overlooked. But I love a long beach where besides swimming, I can take a long walk. And you can walk something like 9 kilometers round trip on this beach!...More

I don´t know if you mean Paddle Boards or canoes? Becaue there were several canoe tours starting from beaches in Lagos. I did not see Paddle Boards, but I don´t know if there aren´t any.
