The trip takes only 1.15h and we enjoyed every bit. Many geological formations take the shapes of different animals/objects,don’t wanna spoil it so don’t miss the chance to find out on your own!

I hated Lagos. The city is very ugly except from some nice little streets inside the historic Center. And even thoses streets are full of tourists restaurants. Ponta da Piedade was the most recommended visit but you can't even access the headlight...only some tourist shops...More

We viewed the cliffs from the hills on a very hot early September day and we enjoyed very much the view. The sea looks spectacularly beautiful and the coast is very pretty. There is a small free parking on top of the hill, but you...More

This place really is as beautiful as all the reviews say. You have to see it to believe it. There are a lot of steps down to the water where boat tours are €15pp. Be warned there is no beach here - a mistake we...More

This place is absolutely beautiful for the sunset of the morning for the beach down the cliffs.. You can also take a boat from the marina, there are a lot of choices but it's better to rent a kayak or a canoe to do it

Fantastic views not only from above the cliffs but also from the beach itself. It was my second time to Lagos and I can't imagine not going there again!

Take the opportunity to see this site from both the water and from the cliffs above. It is a spectacular site.

My wife, two adult children and I hired a boat (Euro 15 each) to tour Ponta da Piedade. It was such a good trip, just under an hour and with many photo opportunities. We recommend this to all visiting Lagos.

The rock formations including cliffs, caves, arches, pillars and blow holes are very impressive - probably the most dramatic I've seen anywhere in the world. Definitely worth spending some time there. There's lots of local boat trips that will give you a sea level view...More

Go to the free car park walk down the steps and you can take a boat there and then. We paid 65 Euro for 5 of us and they gave concessions for young children, well worth it!

It's very obvious where it starts. You genuinely can't miss it. If you're on the main road you should be able see it when traveling by car. There is one snack bar and then there is like a little port. However there is only... More
