Lagos is mainly a beach town, only a few things to see. This is said to be a sculpture of the Boy King dom Sebastiano, although it looks like a girl. n 1572, the 18 year-old Boy King, Dom Sebastião, paid a visit to Lagos...More

A nice statue and good point for orientation and of course to arrange a meeting. Also somewhere to rest and listen to street musicians

An interesting statue, modern art not really my taste, but I'm sure it has a story! It's among many of the nice places to eat and drink or buy a souvenir.

Nice plaza surrounded by shops and restaurants, but the nice part is that in the evening local artists perform there.

I would prefer a more traditional statue ..... and I am sure that most Portuguese people would also. His body was never recovered from the battlefield ...... hence the many so called descendants who kept popping up to claim the Throne.
