It was interesting looking at all the boats from everywhere. I particularly liked the 2 tall ships in port. You can also walk along the nice wide path along the harbor. All in all, a great spot to observe man & boat.

The marina is known for the artwork provided by visiting yachtsmen. Its interesting to see the visitors name and the level of artwork.

Visited the Horta marina recently and was fascinated to view all the painted murals. Each mural was painted by different sailing crews who were on transatlantic trips. They would include the name of the vessel , country, crew members and an interesting drawing.
