The old station is decorated with beautiful blue and white tiles, azulejos, so typical for Portugal. The new station is modern, clean and very nice looking.

The old portion of the train station in Aveiro is decorated with beautiful painted tiles as are many of Portugal's historic buildings. A highlight in Aveiro.

Such a beautiful train station decorated with blue and white tile murals depicting the history of the region telling a story in pictures. A must see if you admire Portuguese tile work. My wife and I really appreciated the craftsmanship.
Good location to walk into town. Comfortable and easy to navigate. Not a lot of choice for something to eat.
