The museum is fantastic. Especially the Christ who has two facial expressions on one side. Looking to the right he smiles. On the left he is sad. I recommend.

Not well known but you must not miss this one. One of the prettiest museums ever. Gorgeous chapel. Superb art displays.

Even though everything is religious, it is interesting and it is worth giving it a try. For students it is free entrance! I visited the museum before noon on a Saturday and it was almost empty. 👍🏻

The museum is built around the original convent and is dedicated to the life of Santa Joana. It is here where you can see her tomb which is made of many colors of inlaid marble and is stunning. The 4€ admission is money well spent....More

You must visit this museum as it is part of the history of Aveiro. I am sure you will find it an interesting and worth while spare of time. Go there and tell me what you think, this is the challenge I have for you!

We liked the main rooms a lot, gorgeous decoration and very original too. The religious collection is not my cup of tea.

I don’t think they are but I think the signage is in Portuguese and English. The museum does have its own website and you might find the answer there.
