In this place you can appreciate the views to one part of the city. It is a beautiful little garden with lots of history. It's very close to other attractions so you can just take a look when passing by.

Definitely the best view of Coimbra! Just right by the university, and filled with the poems from poets, writers and anonymous students!

Penedo da Saudade is a small "park" i would call it like that in the middle of the city. Many people heard about it, but not many people been there. It is worth the visit for a moment. Great view for "Ponte Europa" and the other side of the city and also is a little lung in the city...trees and... More

Nostalgia Rock in the City of Coimbra. You can see this as one of the highest points or Hill in the city of Coimbra, and the students from the University of Coimbra used this place to let their feelings have their way. So this place was used to show the home-sickness of the students after they have finished there degree... More

Walking around this hillside you can feel the nostalgia of the generations of students who've come back to leave messages here. Sitting on one of the stone slabs at sunset was a perfectly romantic setting at the end of a daytrip to Coimbra, whether you have someone to translate the poems or not. Beautiful!

Is a interesting place over the years the students that passe by Coimbra dedicate poems to the loved one , you can see around dated from years ago poems of love writen and displayed on stone betwen the flowers and the garden. The students have the habit of taking the guitars at night and serenade to their lovers.

You must visit this with some Portuguese translator, since there´s plenty of "signs" with interesting messages to read. Also a nice view to the new Stadium.

This place it's a little oasis surrounded by private houses where you can just sit and relax and that seems that you are away from everything. You can take a troll through the whole length of it and you will be amazed by the great view you have from up there. You'll probably see most of the places you want... More

Coimbra's not that big and bustling a city but this place provides a peaceful oasis nonetheless, where you can sit a relax, overlooking a panoramic view of the city, and reflect.
