We stayed in Cascais for four nights & enjoyed a stroll around the marina - they take 650 boats so there's plenty to see for anyone interested in anything nautical. It has a lovely setting, behind the old fort, with a view to the lighthouse....More

As we toured all the must-see sights in the Lisbon area, this was a great reminder that the sea has always been a way of life here. Lovely place to sit and reflect, to take in the views, and to catch your breath.

Almost like french riviera! Pleasant weather, nice beaches, relaxing environment and great for cycling along the coastline.

Okay, it’s a marina—as in boats floating by docks, a few sailboats boasting white canvas on the open water. Along with the marina, of course, there’s a bar and restaurant. I found, however, walking along the perimeter parks and lovely strolling areas. Unless you have...More
