A very lively place to have late night drinks with spouse or friends. The streets are well decorated and lighting in the night very beautiful.

Very old streets. Each one with tagged walls. Typical tramway. But At the evening, hordes of drunked people invade the quarters. For myself, i stopped to see drunked people as fun at 20.

If you love old tiles and mosaics, this is the area for you! The buildings and architecture are the cornerstones that make up this beautiful area. Loved it!

This is the central district of Lisbon, right in the heart, with the amalgamation of many neighbourhoods. Definitely worth a visit. Many good restaurants and cafes in this area.

If you can find a good bar to settle into its great. Very busy and quite rowdy. A lot of bar crawls and booze tours hens nights etc. Food options are pretty average and quite touristy.

The Bairro is full of good restaurants and is a very lively place. Full of the young and trendy. A great place to visit. Highly recommended.

We stayed at an apartment in this area. The place we stayed was not comfortable. But I can say this area is the heart of Lisboa. It is full of tapas bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets. All the buildings reflect the historical beauty of Lisboa.
