There is nothing g outstanding bout the square, but it is close to the station and can be a reference point for that as well as the restaurant areas towards the river.

While coming back from Sintra to Rossio station and wandering around, we stopped at this huge square to appreciate the beauty around and take a long breath to allow crowds pass through. It's very busy square but you can't miss it being located right at...More

Beautiful square especially when lit up at night. The fountains are lovely and the square had plenty of room. Can get annoying being hustled by tuck tuck drivers and tourist bus ticket sellers.

Beautiful fountain surrounded by other monuments. Main area for pick up points for hop on hop off buses and tuk tuks.

This is one of the main squares in Lisbon. It is a large square, with Escher-like tiles which give the impression that one is walking among waves. One side of the square holds a multitude of restaurants.

It is a great square from the wavy pavement to the National Theater. I love that there's trees to provide a little shade.

Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply

earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its
name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in
Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the
Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the
