For four euros, you can climb the 106 steps to reach a 360 degree view around the city. You can see the water, the new bridge, and even the new Downtown architecture. In the inside is a large barrel vault nave and a nice dome,...More

It's one of the most impressive monument of Lisbon, and dated from1779; splendid architecture, looks like a Brasilian church, and is located on Estrella square, and in front a wonderful park. A mix of barroc and neoclassic styles, and was inspired by a great monastry...More

It’s the one that gives you the wow factor if you do the open top bus but seems nit that many actually get off and go inside It’s very worth it if you do. Absolutely beautiful and very rarely more than a handful of people...More

This was a beautiful basilica but what brought it alive was the walk to the terrrace and the dome. The dome isn’t for one who is scared of heights but it’s got very clear and beautiful views into the basilica and we really enjoyed the...More

Stunning inside and out and free entry. Definitely worth the visit. Also recommend visiting the local cemetery which has stunning tombs and a lovely church also free to enter.

This church is less visited, that's very nice. It lies next to the park, so you can visit both. The neighborhood is also quiet.

Very nice baroque style church, not too heavily decorated. The main attraction is certainly the very impressive nativity scene, made of numerous clay figurines in an elaborate scenery made of cork, lies -almost hidden - behind the tomb of Queen Mary I. A small contribution...More

The church inside is very beautiful, elegant and majestic. A 4€ ticket will let you go to the roof terrace when you have a great sight of the dome. The ticket is quite expensive for the sight you get. The stairs are steep and long,...More

You can climb the stairs to the roof terrace of the church. It costs 4 euros (March 2018). On a slightly rainy day me and my boyfriend were the only ones on the roof, so no crowds! The view is nice. Also the door to...More

This looks very impressive from the inside, but apart from the dome inside, not quite as good inside. The statues faces looked disturbingly plasticky. Beware of opening hours - prolonged lunchtime closing until 3pm. It is free, but miss-able if you are on a tight...More
