The square is a standard square with shops and few other things, not much special. Good weather makes it better.

This is very much like Las Ramblas in Barcelona. Long pedestrian street with plenty of entertainment, shopping and outdoor or indoor dining.

This is a primarily a big open space with a large statute smack in the middle. There are shops and restaurants that border the sides. While I was in town, the Eurovision song competition had this area roped off for a special event. I would...More

The grand street is amazing, both in size and architecture. Lots of smaller side streets branch out as you walk along, full of shops and hidden gems. Enjoy.

Interesting part of Lisbon and the architecture is worth seeing. A nice place to have a drink and people watch though a slight premium on drinks accordingly. Still worth while especially if the sun is shining.

A nice area to relax and have a few drinks, and watch the world go by. There are plenty of restaurants offering a good range of food and drink. The arch on the square is massive and worth seeing.

Great place for shops and places to eat. I'd suggest trying some of the restaurants on the side streets as well - they offer the same food at the same prices but you are not sat on what I called "Avenue de Tourists" feeling like...More

A square surrounded by wonderful buildings with arcades at three sides and by the Tejo River at its fourth side.

Just in the middle of everything, you will end up here even if you don't want to go. It is a nice place, particularly during the daylight since you can see all the river. By night is not well lit and it is a bit...More

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply
"Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake

earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its
name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in
Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the
Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the
