He faces the waterfront right in front of the large arch. You cannot miss it if you are walking in the square.

This is an impressive statue in the square. Whilst we were there there was a photoshoot around it. Lots of people taking selfies there.

The statue of the Portuguese King Joseph I (Dom José I) dominates Lisbon's Commercial Plaza (Praça do Comércio). It is a fine statue and is the focal point of the square.

This is the big statue in the middle of the Praca at the riverfront. The square is huge and surrounded by noble buildings with arcades. The statue is a city icon.

The statue is situated down by the waterfront in a large open space. The area surrounding the space with all the old buildings was more impressive.
