This is not a must do but it's somewhere you'll most likely pass through. This street is home to my favourite restaurant Rosa Da Rua, so I passed down here a few times. I wouldn't want to be alone walking down here. It felt a...More

This is the center of Barrio Alto, one of Lisbon's most picturesque neighborhoods, quiet and charming by day, full of drinking and dining by night. Lovely architecture.

Rua da Rosa in Lisbon Portugal old town is a narrow cobbled street, ome of the main streets in Bairro Alto. Apartments for rent, tourist accomodation with restaurants and bars.

Rua da Rosa sees a lot of action at night because of its bars and restaurants. if youre sleeping there then be prepared for noise. During the day its just another quiet street

Probably the best known street in Bairro Alto, with many small shops and art stores, but the real life starts in the evening when numerous restaurants and bars open the doors for a crowd of tourists and visitors.

This is a standard, slightly run-down Lisbon Street. There is nothing of value for tourists. Perhaps the bars are good at night, but in the day time, it is a waste of time.

Used this Rua to get to a famous restaurant. Poorly laid & bumpy surfaces, slim and difficult to travers, almost no lghts - but great nonetheless! A taste of real Lisbon!

Great way to go from Bairro Alto up to Principe Real and lots of old architecture, shops, dining etc...it can be a short cut, a landmark street when exploring this Bairro. Always something new to see, quiet by hustle bustle at nightfall.
