The "Cathedral" offers entertainment, commerce and leisure All emotions are allowed at the Benfica Stadium, a venue envisaging numerous possibilities: excitement, leisure, commerce and a glorious and complete show on the pitch. Every day from 10am to 7pm (Guided Tours every 15 minutes). (Domestic competitions: There are no Stadium Tours on match days.). (European Competitions: There are no Stadium Tours on the two days before the match, on the match day itself and on the morning after the match). Sports Complex Comprised of two pavilions and a swimming pool, this complex is a place for sports other than football, both professional and amateur. It's another big setting for the emotions Benfica offers. Health Club With 3 distinct floors, the modern and spacious Health Club provides an interior swimming pool and a wide variety of activities. Benfica Museum It proudly displays Sport Lisboa e Benfica's long and rich history, including a multifunctional room for temporary exhibitions. The Benfica Museum is an area of pure interaction between the fans and the Club's past and present. Panoramic Restaurant and Bars Composed by 2 floors, the panoramic restaurant offers a priviledged view to the pitch. In match days, throughout the Stadium's three levels of stands, approximately 55 bars offer a high quality service to everyone. It also has a selected area for members and fans. Commercial Area Located in the Stadium's surroundings, this zone offers an array of services, from traditional restaurants to various kinds of stores. Benfica Megastore Mirroring the Club's dimension and commercial strength, the Megastore confirms the Benfica brand as a triumphant emblem. Parking Lot In addition to an exterior parking lot in the Stadium's surroundings, the complex also has an interior parking lot of approximately 1400 spaces over 3 subterranean levels and direct access to the Stadium.

Little outside from City Center and Old Town, but still easy to reach by Metro(blue line, Colégio Militar/Luz station). Also some sightseeing buses stop here, because there is interesting museum which you can visit everyday. This Stadium was built for 2004 European Championships and it replaced original Estadio da Luz(=light), which was demolished. Capacity is about 65000 and they had... More

If you are a football fan then this place is a real gem. Great stadium and very knowledgable tour guide, good superstore to buy shirts and gifts etc and a nice cafe for refreshments. Also its only €10 so is a bargain.

We happened to be in Lisbon when Benfica played with Porto but unfortunately couldn't get tickets for the game. To make up for that we visited the museum and did the stadium tour. The stadium is easy to get to by the Metro and the museum is great and rich in exhibits, very informative and very well presented. At the... More

By far the best soccer team and club in Portugal, not only along the history, but also in recent years. With home games receiving over 50,000 fans on a regular base. This fabulous stadium includes shops, pools, and a great museum to visit!

Absolutely brilliant tour of stadium and museum. The staff was well informed on the history of team and the stadiums. I would definitely recommend a visit to the museum and the restaurant inside, A Catedral.

What a great experience. The stadium is easy to reach by metro, it is not crowded and no lines in front of security and ticketpoints. Every seat in the stadium has good sight for the game. Food and beverages are well organised. People are friendly and it is really a 'day out'. I went with my dad of 81 yrs... More
