This is "our new" beach... It's not a hiddem gem, but almost... There are no deserted beaches near Lisbon and this one still have less people that others in the district. Excavated between cliffs, natural and preserved environment, to which the rocks, caves and tunnels...More

Wow! Its a small but beautiful beach away from the city and daily stress. Its so peacefull, and like most of the areas around here you can always go for another adventure by following another path up the hill. We took the train from Lisboa...More

Small but beautiful beach. Watch out in Almocageme for directions to the beach (coming from Praia Grande ts direction Cabo da Roca for the first turns and then off to the right from N 247). The beach itself was much less crowded than Praia Grande....More

Adraga is easier to reach by car. It has a good beach cafe and a pretty beach with cliffs behind. It tends to be less busy than Praia Grande, but those with children need to take care because the sea can be rough (as well...More

Probably the best grilled seabass in the world. Percebes as fresh as you can possibly have them. I come here regularly Summer and Winter and nothing beats the freshness and the way they grill the fish

One of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. The cold and upset sea will give you a boost of energy. Admire the sunset and after that go to the Adraga restaurant, ask for a grilled local fish and drink a portuguese white wine.

This place is not as known as its neighbour to the north, Praia Grande, but the place itself is perfect. The restaurant has prime quality seafood! Perfect for a dinner at sunset!

Not a large beach area, but a beautiful one! The large rock formations are so unique and create some areas of shade if that is desired. Quiet on a fall day, but understand it can be quite busy in season.

The beach is off the beaten track. It is just over a mile from the main Cascais road in the village of Almocageme. The walk is a quite steep downhill on the way down to the beach and of course uphill on the return. There...More

Hi, How busy is this beach at the end of July on a weekday? Roughly how many people would be there in the afternoon? I just wanted to know as we are thinking of holding our wedding here (but live in the UK) and know the beach won't be exclusive just to us. Any tips/advice will be most welcome :)
