Actually Sintra village is a very small town located on top of the hills but it was worth visiting. After our visit to the Cabo da Roca, our tour group came by here for visiting. Basically there are 2 main perpendicular streets here, where most...More

Make sure you take at least one day to see Sintra. The Palace of Pena, the Moorish Castle, the city hall. All of them worth seeing.

The small town of Sintra is now a tourist village. Local cultures give way to restaurants with languages in all languages. While there are some lovely houses, in general it has little to offer.

Sintra town is really nice and beautiful. Worth to go there if you are in Lisbon. Every Corner has something speacial and the streets are really cute

The atmosphere in old town is lovely before and after the buses arrive. You'll also be able to enjoy a seat at Piriquitas, if that is of interest. I found it a bit over-hyped.

Souvenir shops, cafees, restaurants etc etc everywhere. Not much of the old charm is left. Last time I was there is 25 years ago and it was different. Now I was disapointed. In stead concentrate on the many fine castles in Sintra. Take the circular...More

We had an extended lunch break in Sintra and there were lots of choices for grabbing a bite of food and exploring the small shops. As with any small town in Portugal, there is elevation and stairs, so watch your step. Love the flowers and...More

The town center has a lot of restaurants and cafes lined around it. With the cobbled pathways and small alleys its a charming town. A touristy town so lots of souvenir shops that you can browse through
