We visited this museum last week. Interesting historical collections of tiles from around the world. Lovely building, slightly off the beaten track. Worth seeing alongside Quinta das Cruzes.

Been there. Like the tiles collection very much. I think this museum needs more attention from the public. I haven’t seen a single person there... maybe it need to ad. Very nice building. Incredible state of conservation. Very nice indeed.

Small museum packed with interesting artifacts and furniture. Unlike others, we did not find the staff to be unreasonable or unhelpful. We smiled and spoke to them and they responded in kind. Most of the exhibits are displayed in the open and not behind glass...More

We came upon this lovely museum by accident. The rooms were fascinating and the exhibits beautifully presented. Unfortunately our visit was marred by the brusque attitude of the female staff who made us feel uncomfortable.

Situated up a very high sloped road but was worth the climb. Only e3.00 admission , staff are there to answer all of your questions. The rooms are very well laid out and brochures in many languages.

My husband and I like quirky little museums and this was certainly one of those. Up a steep little side street it can be a little difficult to find but worth it. There is an exhibition of beautiful tiles from around the world covering hundreds...More

Just 100m up the steps from here is the Universo Joao Carlos Abreu, a much friendlier and unique place to visit, full of interesting collections and with nice friendly welcoming staff. At the FF museum you can also see some interesting period furnished rooms, it...More
