In the marina along the promenade, prime location. There are restaurants and coffee shops in abundance with spectacular views. Plus ice cream stalls and plenty seating areas to relax and watch the cruise ships leave at sunset. They have these cars and scooters you can...More

A great area to walk the length of the marina and see the cruise ships and sailing boats parked in the marina.

Excellent place for walks at different times of the day. Special attention deserves plants. Some of the flowers and plants we know in Europe, but on the Madeira island the same kind of plant looks different.

Nice and easy stroll along the front and enjoy the warmth of the morning. The walk is punctuated by some 'unique' art and in a small town like Funchal only takes an hour or so.
