Andrei and Olga Ladeichikov are exceptional musicians. Attending two of their concerts in the charming and intimate English Church was the unexpected delight of the Madeira trip. They are equally innovative and excellent playing chamber or jazz. They also perform other styles and I only...More

I attended a Thursday evening concert by a classical quartet. It was a middle of the road programme but performed with particular enthusiasm by the Lead Violinist and great trepidation by the second violinist who had stepped in at the last minute. A delightful concert...More

Thanks to the people who recommended this service! The building is beautiful, a circular church, wonderful acustics! The service was good. Bible reading, ministers' sharing of the Gospel, the hymns, music and the Christian fellowship was very good. We felt warm hospitality. Thank you! Recommended!

Historic Palladian style church in central Funchal. Staff are very welcoming and the Sunday 11am service was well-attended with an interesting sermon. After the service, all are invited to tea/coffee or Madeira wine with biscuits, in the attractive church garden. The church is also a...More
