Beautiful and a must see area. We parked literally at the bottom where the tracks begin (saved parking fees) Took the journey to climb and took our time. Beautiful view once on top, take the time to have a drink at the terrace overlooking Braga. We will come back!

Amazing visit in the hills to see the oldest church in Portugal. We were moved by the views. It was worth the visit.

A really enjoyable visit, sun out, fewer visitors at this time of year, could really take in the peace and beauty of the place. Elevator not running so drove up. Must see the steps from the base upwards, so worth the several flights down. Not for the elderly or infirm though. Finish off with a reviving beverage and enjoy the... More

The Bom Jesus do Monte in Braga is a must visit tourist spot. Very well maintained place. As option of climbing the extensive staircase, you can climb the elevator. The car can also take you to the top of the hill. High up there is a Chathedral are hotels and small gardens, as well as a breathtaking view of the... More

Stunning views around the Braga city. Beautiful church at the top of the hill, in the middle of the nature.

This is located at 15 min by bus of Braga. The bus number 2 brings you there ! When you arrive, the best to do is to walk to the top. There are plenty of small houses which are very interesting. This takes 20 min max by walk. There are excellent pictures to make with the view of this church.... More

Been there while roadtripping with friends. You need a car or taxi to go there since it is on a hill. An astonishing temple dedicated to the passions of Jesus. Long way up through stairs while enjoying the statues and architecture of the area. An amazing view on the top. You can enjoy (as we did) an espresso at the... More

Bom Jesus is amazing - an oasis in Braga. It's perfect for hikes, walks, picnics with families and great place to take beautiful shoeselfies. Josefinas sneakers stand out from the landscape.

It is a must-see, if you are in Porto area, few kilometers away, you will enjoy a nice view from the city of Braga as well as the beautiful church
