Great if you have some time to kill, but otherwise skipable. Great interective features, which we lost a lot of time on. Great renovation, interesting for those interest in architecture.

This was an amazing find right in the heart of the old town. Massive history as the Customs House and the Mint over the years. Now it has a number of exhibits ranging from the Roman remains to a comprehensive amount of Portuguese history relating...More

Casa do Infante is such a lovely place! I was very disappointed to see that no one talks about Casa do Infante! How could this be? Everyone talks about Lello, Majestic, Palacio da Bolsa, Bulhao... Sure, these are great places to visit, but Casa do...More

This is an interesting building. It is on the site of some Roman remains that can be seen. It was the medieval palace, where Henry the Navigator was born and a beautiful medieval staircase remains. There is a good visual interpretation of how the building...More

If you wish to learn a little of the history of Oporto you'll find this fills in many of the blanks – from Roman times to the present. Beautifully restored old building and very informative displays. Reduced entry price for senior citizens.

This fine old building has been internally modernised to contain a museum on Henry the Navigator, the Portuguese explorers, the part Porto played and the history of the building.

I'm a fan of regional / city museums, and this one ranks high. It's mostly a museum about the city of Porto's involvement in Portugal's imperial adventures in the 1500s to 1700s in Brazil, India, and the far east. Lots of English signage -- which...More
