The setting and grounds are exceptional. Nice place to spend an afternoon walking or hanging out. Did not go inside the palace itself as it was closed

This structure made from metal and glass is set impressive surroundings. We enjoyed watching the beautifully coloured chickens and peacocks strolling the area. There are goo vies from this elevated site of the river Douro in both directions.

Very nice park with nice views. Great to have a stroll and a drink on a sunny day. The Palacio itself is not so special, kind of a old and torn building, a sport arena I believe.
