The beach was not crowded at all. There was probably a total of 35 people mid day. The views where what you would expect from a carribean getaway. You can rent a chair and umbrella for about 20 dollars. We will be coming back on...More

I heard this was the beach to visit while we were on a recent cruise vacation. It didn't disappoint! It was beautiful. The water color was the most beautiful shade of turquoise I've ever seen. Very calm water and beautiful sand. Plenty of lounge chairs...More

Trying to visit 365 beaches within 6 days is pretty tough. I chose to spend one of my days at Valley Church Beach and had such a beautiful relaxing day. The beach was not crowded (which was perfect in my book). Had lunch and cocktails...More

Loved the beach. I don't trust the Jet Ski rental guy after he tried to say we dented his machine and we didn't go anywhere near anyone. The bartender wasn't very friendly but the waiter was. It's so beautiful I'd still go bacak.

If you are looking for a Heavenly Beach , this is the place! The water is beautiful , the right side of the beach is deep and the waves come in fiercely. The left side has low lapping waves that come in easily. Enjoy both...More

We had a wonderful experience at this beach. The Nest restaurant is located here and the food and beverages were superb. We had the sweetest bartender/waitress, Rosie. Her Pina Coladas were top notch. I had the curry shrimp on my first day and it was...More

We visited while a cruise ship was on the dock in St Johns - many of the cruiseers had come down by taxi and the place was *packed*! Nice bar with overworked staff and free WiFi. Great beach, but pick a time when it's quiet.

It seemed more like a local beach which was nice but it wasn't as clean and accommodating to tourist.

Came to this beach early one morning with our 14 month old daughter, lovely low waves lapping in made it perfect for a cooling splash in the sea, returned at lunchtime for lunch at The Nest!

Snorkling could be great once the tide is suitable...by which i mean low, otherwise it can be very cloudy and unsafe.

generally your taxi taking you out will want to bring you back. They seem very informal but are very reliable to turn up again afterwards. There will be lots of taxis ferrying people back and forth to the cruise ships!
