This temple is just beside the river Bhagirathi and nicely decorated with white stone, full of sunshine (if available). Ganga maa is inside and overall scenery is very beautiful.

I went to gangotri temple only. For Gaumukh Trek , you may source information for Garwal mandal Vikas nigam ltd or tourism depptt , Govt of Uttarakhand.

This year it is opened till 31 October. this is literally off season. You can go but expect problems when snow fall occurs. Snow fall can occur usually after October. Temple however will be closed. On the dusshera day the... More
