Absolutely a must Beautiful and historically important. The views from there are stunning. We have not understood the policy of making pictures on the site. Some people were told by the site staff not to pose while others were not. I didn't get the difference between the poses why some were ok and others don't.

This is a amazing historical site to visit, and I am so grateful that I finally made it there. It was a visit of a lifetime and so I was pleased to see what a good job the Greek people are doing to restore this site. It would be really nice to see the ancient artefacts returned here once again.... More

A place on the list of 10 places must see once in a lifetime. But you have to be in good physical condition and to choose a cloudy day.

We entered via the entrance just out the museum which we had visited first (south?). Winter season so only 10 euros for me and free for my 2 children. We were there at around 12.30 and there was a tiny queue of 2 people in front of us. The queue had been much longer when we walked past on our... More

It is a beautiful place for amazement and contemplation. The vistas over Athens are great and there is so much history to soak up. It is definitely worth it to come early to beat the heat and the crowds.

Acroplis Athens is the main tourist attraction in Athens city. it is visible to the city day and night because it is illuminated by lights in the night. some hotels have roof top bar lounges with view of Acroplis. Everyone should visit this place during the stay in Athens.

Must see, if you miss this then you haven't really visited Greece. These ancient structures are in pristine condition.

Unbelievable. A must visit .pictures can't do justice. Allow a few hours to visit. Great views also of athens. The scale of the buildings have to be seen to be believed. 5 minutes walk from acropolis station.

Amazing! Photos do not do this place justice. You get taken back by the amount of history that is at this site. We loved it and stayed here for a while. Only downside is the guided tours booth try to rip you off (100 euros for a 1hr tour) We ignored that and did our own reading.
