In front of this building are the changing of the guards in full regalia. They're chosen for their male beauty and required to give nine months to this duty. It's fascinating to watch their unique march that is almost a dance but supposedly is how...More

Well it is not something that is really special. You do a picture there and you move one. Not impressed

On the hour, every hour. It really is an impressive sight seeing the ceremonial guards doing their slow motion synchronized march at the tomb of the unknown soldier. A must see.

Though it is impossible to visit Athens without seeing the Parliament, this is in many ways just a big building on the main square of the city. Not particularly beautiful, not particularly well maintained, not particularly memorable - and visits are not allowed and you...More

Make sure you get there on the hour to see the changing of the guard it's definitely a spectacle to see. The backdrop of Parliament House adds to the pomp and ceremony of the event

Nothing really much to see here other than the changing of the guard, which is pretty cool. The guard marching can be seen throughout the day, but we didn't get exact times. Syntagma Square across the street seemed like a fun safe place to hang...More

Beautiful building and if you're interested in Greek history I think this is a must see to add to your list. Try and see the changing of the guard too.

What a pretty building and watching the guards change is a must see. Its so rich in history to watch the tradition and learn about what they are doing. It is not about just watching but educating and immersing yourself into this rich history!!!

A nice building to see and take some pictures there. You should visit it when the guards change so you can see their specific "dance". It's right in Syntagma square, so in the center of the city.

Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is
Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament
building on its upper side and surrounded by other
large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande
Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia
are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like
the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia
Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents,
