You need to walk a little bit worth it. If you do it late afternoon your pictures will be better. Must see.

This attraction can be completed in less than an hour and it is a must see. DON'T miss the tunnel the athletes used to enter the stadium. DON'T miss the statues about the stadium. DO walk to the top if you are up to it for great views! Very impressive...takes less than an hour. I didn't feel a guide or... More

We visited the Parthenon which is part of the Acropolis, huge temple, made of marble with huge marble columns, above the doorway was beautiful scene of artwork, part of which are at the British museum, known as the Elgin marbles and some at the Acropolis Museum, the temple was partially destroyed by an explosion, but from what remains ,this was... History on a plate. But infomation on spot was really a deficit goods. impossible to get historically wiser. But watch out- very, very slippery on marble stones, horrifying lack on fence/protection rack over extremely low wall on steep and high southern side of Akropolis.

I swear you won't die on the walk up, contrary to other reviews and he occasional podcast guide. As the most unfit person that I know, personally, I found myself asking how we began using the word "hike" to describe anything that happens around here. A trip to the Athens branch of M+S poses a greater stairs challenge. Anyways, that... More

Combined / Combo / Multi ticket usually costs 30 euro, which is fair if you plan to visit several sites. BUT!!! In winter time, from 1st of November to 1st of April all the prices for the sites are reduced by half, while they still sell you the combined ticket for 30 euro. All the sites alone are adding up... As the Acropolis itself, the monument is quite a site and the reconstruction is interesting. They should employ workers each day just to show what's happening.
