Simple in terms of architecture and "pomp," but definitely elegant, this concert hall is ahead of the game in terms of acoustics. Wagner's Tristan and Isolde" was a fabulous production - the music was wonderful, the sets, the costumes, etc. What a treat it was...More

Kevin Spacey performed here last year and was blown away with the acoustics. This year I took in a play with much delight. The children could not believe it was a open theater

Beautiful acoustics inside, but nothing special or worth seeing. In line with every 60s concert hall in US cities. Modern, out of scale and place, clashes with the wonderful building that is the US embassy next to it. Too bad the Greeks missed the opportunity...More

Well equipped, dull, double concert - opera auditorium next to the American Embassy. A most expensive and time consuming operation, that was the making of it, with the deepest underground 'well' for the garage.
