This was a fascinating afternoon looking at amazing treasures. We were with a guide so we had the advantage of getting more than just a walk through a museum. The beauty of the sculptures is beyond words....from so long ago! The skill of the artisans is astonishing.

I really enjoyed visiting here, some amazing atefacts they have! It cost €2 to enter and you can take photographs as long as you do not use a flash. You must not touch anything as per any museum and you will be followed everywhere you go, however the staff were friendly. Would have got 5 stars if my ''minder'' could... More

Astonishingly pristine-looking pottery and art work 3600y old and more. Unbelievable how much of the pottery which is so beautifully pained has survived.

Stumbled across this while trying to burn up some time until some restaurants opened. The woman at the front desk was nice and even though the sign out front said it was a €4 entrance fee she only charged me €2. After the front desk however the experience was not favorable. The exhibts were much of what I expected but... More

Loved this museum, lots of ancient artifacts to see but don't dare touch anything! Lol only €4 to check it out and it was well worth it! :)

I was fascinated by all the artefacts in the museum. Seeing the fine details in the pottery and statues shows how talented people was ancient times were.

The museum had an interesting exhibition based on Piraeus and the impact war had on the community. However the main attraction is upstairs! They have multiple bronze statues of Athena that you can view.

I am not a big archaeology fan, but I enjoyed this place. Along with the objects inside and outside, there is the site of an ancient theater. An employee gave us a lot of info as we toured the outside part of the museum.

Lots of artifacts, a great lesson of history right in the middle of town/ neighborhood. Very quiet and far from the big crowds
