While at the museum if you have any problem you can refer to the people working there. You might think you are dealing with human beings but don't be fooled. Those things are machines - not intelligent machines - the stupid ones.

Visiting the Temple of Poseidon requires one hour plus drive out of Athens and a little bit of a climb from the entrance but well worth the walk Definitely the highlight of our mostly disappointing day in Athens

Not a large collection but worthwhile if you are in the area. Great display from an important part of European history. The highlights are the bronze statues. Cheap tickets is a plus (£4).

the mseum was 5 min walk from my hotel, so I couldn't avoid it. Nice , though small collection of ancient artefacts, mostly sculptures, with amazing bronze statues of Appolo, Artemis and Athena herself.. Impressive!
