This section of ruins in Delphi is not as large as the historical site that includes the Temple of Apollo, but it is beautiful and certainly one of the highlights of the visit. This section of the ruins is free of charge and is just...More

You can understand why the ancient Greeks thought this was the navel of the world. It feels like it, and also feels very special and spiritual. A definite must visit in Greece.

Like many archeological sites, very little of the original structures are still standing. However, there's enough to make it an interesting visit. The climb may be a little steep for some but it's certainly manageable. Views of the Gulf of Corinth and the surroundings are...More

We have been to many historical ruins and although it was interesting, and I'm glad we did it, we both felt the museum has so much more to offer. There is definitely enough to tour to get a feel of the city at the time,...More

Dramatic. Pythia told us that the longest way round is the shortest way home. Beware of the ethylene gases 😉

A great archeological site at a majestic location. Go uphill and sit to enjoy the view among the ruins. You will defenetly travel to a different time and leave a changed person.

The Delphi site is very well marked. The pathways are steep and somewhat difficult. If you have mobility issues this would be very hard to navigate.

Amazing to walk through time. We also used an app Delphi to see how it was when all the buildings were intact. Improves your visit. Only downside was that it closed so early that we could not see the stadium. So start on top.

Hire a taxi from port. You will be able to come and go as you like; Be sure to be back at port on time; Have him take you to a fine lunch along the way; Perhaps stop and look at icon painting as well. Enjoy
