We come to Paros for more than ten years. I'm an addict to Yria ceramics. Every year I get one or two or three pieces of ceramics there. All year round I serve food on these wonderful plates. They make me happy. Can't wait to get more.

If you're looking for a souvenir that is locally made and of exceptional quality, this is a great place. There are shops which feature the artist's work around the island, but this is the studio and home. You can visit and see what is in progress, as well as make purchases. Such a variety- lots of intricate bugs, birds, and... More

A brilliant place to visit - the ceramics are fabulous and we really enjoyed looking round and seeing such lovely work. The owner was very friendly and very pleased that we had taken the time to visit. He had several lovely cats and kittens and a very friendly dog who wanted to chase stones in the courtyard! We purchased some... More

Please don't misunderstand the Yria ceramic shop you find in downtown Paros with this place. The shop in Paros has beautiful pieces but the place I am talking about is in Kostos up on the hill, 15 minutes from Naoussa. Are you looking for true handcraft ? Then go here and meet Stelios, he owns the studio and he is... More

If you're interested in seeing/purchasing some beautiful pottery go to Yria Ceramic Studio. We visited his studio 20 years ago and we were so happy to see that it is still in existence! The ceramic pieces are a mix of traditional and contemporary pieces that are decorative and/or functional. He also sells marble works that are simply beautiful! While we... More

If you are in this area, you should definitely stop at this studio for a visit. The owner is an artist who sculpts and also makes pottery to sell. You can find some unique ceramics that are not touristy. The owner is charming and he speaks several languages. The road up to the studio is very steep and a bit... More

On our visit to Paros Island we stumbled upon YRIA CERAMICS above the village of KOSTOS. We were surprised and delighted to discover American born Monique Mailloux and her husband , Paros native Stelios Ghikas and their enchanting visitors center and showroom. As well as their own original designs they represent MARBLE SCULPTORS and other artisans from Greece. Deffinately worth... More
