Beautiful peaceful valley to walk through. There were still a few butterflies to see though it's now out of peak season. Amazing how when you look you realise there are loads resting on the trees - barely visible as the camouflage is really good. There were some flying around and thankfully no-one was deliberately trying to make them- the entry... More

We went to butterfly valley in order to see many butterflies and we saw but they are from only one species. The space is too small and it's not an environment where you can really enjoy the nature. The cost it's not too much (2,50 euros) but in my point of view this place not worth a visit.

It's OK, there is only one type of butterfly. The place is a bit run down. I don't regret going but really nothing special

Butterfly valley rests high up in the hills of paros. Entrance fee is €2.50 per person. While there are certainly a lot of butterflies, there was no diversity of species, in fact we only saw the one species. The activity runs through very quickly. You should expect to spend no more than 45 minutes before being ready to leave. There... More

The season is critical for this site. We visited two years ago on April, and it was off season , so no butterflies were present. This time it was full of butterflies and the sight was great. If you are in Rhodes this site is MUST SEE.

Visit this valley and you won't be disappointed , set in a natural setting you will wonder where the butterflies are, and on close inspection you will see thousands on the tree trunks and rocks, once they move you will see them flutter around you , be prepared to walk uphill, then downhill, not wheelchair accessible ,take plenty of water... You will be amazed to find yourself in an oasis of trees and running water when you arrive at the Petaloudes settlement where you can walk between the high trees and narrow alleys where the special butterflies are sleeping. At first you cannot see them due to their color of black with yellow spots but if you click your fingers... More

Not as many moving butterflies as i ecpected... But nice park, surrounding. I expected the butterflies to fly- it is not like that. They mostly stay on trunks of the trees.
