Even our tour driver said not many people ask to be brought here. I feel sorry for anyone who has missed it. A small, sweet church with very beautiful icons. You will not be sorry if you take the drive.

There are over 1000 churches in Santorini...I read that in the guide book...we visited the oldest church in Santorini. Like most of the churches there they were small, dark and musty....the guide informed us that when Greece was under Turkish rule they could not afford to pay the hefty taxes on their houses. So they turned the houses into churches... More
