So beautiful place, the water is very clear, good for snorkeling (not so.much fishes but anyway beautiful). You can rent 2 sand beds and one umbrella for all the day at 7€. There is a restaurant (it offers breakfast too). Good place for families!

Beautiful beach, peacful atmosphere, clear, blue water, perfect for snorkeling. A little taverna serving the guests at the beach. Parking can be a problem, arrive early. Or by boat.

Apella beach is a must if you're looking for beaches in Karpathos. It's stony instead of sandy, but other than that it is the beach of dreams. A big minus was the fee for the sunbeds. Although expected, the people owning those should inform about...More

Supposed to be one of the best beaches in Greece, we were a bit disappointed, Port Katsiki in Lefkas was way more scenic. Lovely surroundings and an exciting drive to get there though. The beach itself was stones and gravel, very painful to walk on...More

Apella/Apela beach is beautiful, it is highly recommended to go and spend at least one day there. There is a bus line, but I think only once or twice a week, so do not miss it. Additionally, the little boats also go there... More

We stayed just outside Karpatos town. I think it was counted as being in Karpathos town but the hotel wasn't like 5 minutes walk from the center. I would stay close to Karpatos town unless you really like rural settings... More
