We spent a relaxing 45 minutes in this impressive and educational museum. Some of the figures date back to 500 BC, truly remarkable. Take time away from the beach to see what Greece is really about. Absolutely superb. 🇬🇷

Title says it all - the Kos Museum is currently closed for refurbishment. Gentleman behind the doors said for 5 months but it wasn't clear when the work started. We were disappointed as the Google images looked quite good!

Visited July 2011. Well worth the small entrance charge. Spent a pleasant couple of hours with our two girls (then 10 and 7) who found it all really fascinating. Lovely and cool too!

To our great annoyance we found a paper on its door stating that it was closed till further notice. Just as we found the Casa Romana after a further long, hot walk
