We stumbled upon this bar/cafe by accident and were very pleased we did. The staff, Cris, Joseph and others, were very friendly and efficient, and as long as you spend money in the bar, use of the sunbeds and parasols on the adjacent beach is free. They have even rigged up a solar panel on a parasol and installed a charging point for phones! The toilet in the cafe is kept clean and there is also a shower on the beach. The food is good and several times I requested something not on the menu and they happily obliged. The complementary crisps with alcoholic drinks is also a very nice touch. The beach, although small, is kept clean and tidy. As it is very popular with the locals it can get a bit crowded.

We spent a lovey chilled afternoon here. We only had drinks, but the food we saw other having looked good. The service was great, the music was good and not so loud we couldn’t talk, and the free WiFi was a bonus. We had a couple of cocktails each that were really good and we thought they were reasonably priced and not made from
premixed syrup. We’ll certainly be back before we leave Kos!

After 3 cancelled wedding venues due to covid we chose Ammos Beach bar for our wedding venue. Kakia was our organiser, currently sales and marketing for tui. She was the most well organised, efficient and fantastic connection we could have wished for when organising a wedding abroad. She communicated with me for over a year in the planning.
Her patience, quick replies and kindness were a God send.
The venue was naturally beautiful, every request was catered for and was a stunning dusk wedding.
The food, service were outstanding and my gluten free requests were made. It was a one stop shop for our wedding, from celebrant, dj and even greek dancers were booked.
A beautiful memory I will never forget.
Thank you to all that made it special.

We were staying at the hotel across the road but came here for lunch twice as it was so good. I would highly recommend getting the club sandwich!
Sun beds are free, it’s very stoney by the water and in the water so wear some beach shoes. You get served by your sun bed so no need to go up to the bar every time.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Can get very busy with the locals on the weekend, so would recommend visiting on a weekday.

we booked the kiosk for EUR 20,— online the day before and when we arrived everything was prepared (we got towels, a fruit bowl) later on we got the Prosecco (one with mango and one with peach) and a bottle of water in a cooler. During the day more and more people came and it was fun watching them from our little kiosk. The service at the beach was lovely (bring time, especially on busy days as they give their best - so please be nice to the staff). They have a broad menu, in the afternoon we had a little meal to get through the day (Pinsa was really nice and fresh). They also have nice wine from hatzimannouil (which we really liked) to a fair price per bottle (per glas it would be to expensive tbh). In the end we even got another fruit bowl from our lovely waiter. You can see he really loves his job. With the kiosk we spend EUR 90,—

We loved Ammos Beach-Cocktail bar, for drinks for food and to spend the day on the sun beds! The options are great you can either take two normal sunbeds which are free (they just ask you to buy drinks or food from
Them), or a gazebo with water included at 10 euros, or a nicer gazebo for 20 with water and a fruit salad included. Although totally worth it even if just with the free sun beds, we took the last option both times because the gazebo were too tempting. The cocktails are also really good. The prices are maybe slightly higher then other bars for food, but makes sense if there are sunbeds included, and the food is very good. We took salad bowls, they happily switched chicken for tofu - so it’s a great option for vegans too! Staff is nice and friendly!

A hidden gem, friendly service, everything neat and cared for. Prices are proportional to the luxury you get. Cabana with curtains on pebbles by the water, so no sand has to be involved if you don't want to. Clear water without algae and very relaxed atmosphere. Cabana costs € 40,- per day you get bottled water, Prosecco and fruit bowl.
Water shoes come in handy, you walk right into the water.
There is a DJ who plays lounge music, volume knob could use a little lower but we have not been bothered. No families with small children, so wonderfully quiet.
You can have lunch in the restaurant, in the shade on very comfortable chairs.

I really love this bar! They have great drinks and all the guys are helpful and cool. The atmosphere and the music here is awesome. Every sunday they organize a big beach party (you need to reserve a table)! The whole bar is clean and I totally recommend it.

Fantastic bar/restaurant with beach club vibes, located in Psaladi, around 10 minutes drive from Kos town. If you’re staying at the Grecotel, as we were, it’s your near neighbour. Gorgeous beach front location, upscale decor, plus great wines, beers & cocktails. Service was welcoming & efficient & food & drink reasonably priced given the setting. The all day menu offers a varied selection of dishes, including salads, poké bowls, pizzas & pasta. It’s a great place to visit at any time but the hot ticket is on certain Sundays in summer when they hold DJ set/party nights. For these events, you can chance just rocking up, or, book a table, the entry requirement being purchase of a bottle of vino at €100 or €150….. the latter option bagging you a prime party spot.

Great beach with wonderful beds, friendly service but…. Way too loud, the same chill music over and over again. You have to shout if you want to hear each other.
On a quiet weekday, a DJ stands on a platform in the middle, putting on a show for himself. We will never go there again

Does the all inclusive package from Oceanis apply at Ammos Beach Bar?
Written 29 August 2017
Hi.. are there any hairdryers in the room?
Written 2 September 2015
Dear guest,
Ammos beach bar is a cocktail bar located next to Oceanis Hotel
I presume your question was for the Oceanis Hotel and not the beach bar.
in this case I would like to inform you that all of our rooms have a hairdryer.
best regards
