Enjoy the feeling of being close to animals as never before. Ostriches and other animals wait for you to come and show them your love. In the farm you can interact with the animals, like touching, feeding and taking a photo with them! An exciting experience you will totally enjoy! We have also prepared a special area, where you can enter and safely interact with ostriches! Also, a botanic garden with local plant species awaits for you. After finishing your tour of the farm, you can enjoy our handmade dishes such as ostrich omelette or ostrich burger and other delicacies. Before leaving you can also pay a visit to our souvenir shop where you can find carved and painted ostrich eggs, cosmetics from ostrich, bee honey, herbs and other products from our farm!

Scooting the island for new discovery, we found the Ostrich Farm on our way to West coast. It was a really nice stop to meet friendly ostriches and to enjoy a well maintained farm and park. We experienced, for the first time in our life, walking among a group of curious ostriches, grabbing our laces, belts and picking on everything... More

This was a lovely little farm, with very friendly staff and lots of interesting animals to see! Feeding 2 ostriches by hand was an interesting experience (Kevin was a lot more gentle than Stuart...) and being told interesting facts about them and their eggs by the owner was very informative. The other animals on the farm include a camel, wallabies,... More

One day away from beaches, archaeological sites and crowds but near nature and animals was a break for us during our holidays in the island. We had the chance to see the ostriches and have a very tasty omelette by their eggs as a snack. I liked handcrafts made by the empty big eggs although I found them rather expensive.

The animals themselves are cute and quite friendly. You can actually feed them (there is a possibility of buying food at the entrance). But, they are actually too eager to eat - they seem little starved, and they actually were sometimes fighting for food. Also, watch out with kids feeding them - they sometimes bite (e.g. donkeys - they have... More

Dear Aruenka, You should know that the kind food we give at the entrance (corn for ostriches and vegetables for other animals) is like delicacies. It is for them as it is candy for children. And as children will eat all the candy they can even if they are full, so will do the animals. So, the animals do not... More

A must see attraction if you are travelling with kids. Very easy to find (after the airport - follow the sign). See the ostriches and other animals, feed them and enjoy a burger made of ostrich in a friendly environment.

An inexpensive place to visit but not really up to much. As well as lots of ostriches there are a few other animals but don't think they are kept in the best conditions. I could be wrong there because I am not an expert on animal welfare. Children will probably love it but comes across as fairly boring for adults.... More

I'visited this farm with my friends. You can easily understand that all the animals are treated well. The staff was very kind and they gave us all the information we wantend. The most interesting thing there was that we fed the most of the animal by hand and we had a great time by feding the ostriches. Also the burger with the... More

The farm is not up to English standards but it non the less very clean and the animals are well cared for and seem happy. Food is purchased on entry with instructions given for the safe feeding of the animals which is an experience to be enjoyed. Unfortunately they have a single baboon in as big a cage as they... More

Hello and thank you for your comment. Indeed the story of the baboon is pretty sad, becaused he suffered much before finding shelter in the farm. Considering the current legislation we do the best we can for him. We are happy to hear that you had such a nice time! More

Although we were only expecting to see ostriches at the farm we were pleasantly surprised to see other animals at the farm. The farmer is extremely passionate about his animals and we had a lovely chat with him after our visit. You can dine in the on site restaurant and sample the ostrich egg omelette and visit the gift shop... More
