If you're walking (in that heat !) or hiring a car, this is a view you really should'nt miss !. We departed Kassiopi and headed along the North coast, taking a route through, Roda and on to Sidari. The drive was easy, pleasant coffee stops whilst doing a recce. We came across signs for "Cape Drastis", why not, we'll take... More

While the drive was a bit long and windy, we went through some really nice and authentic villages on the way and enjoyed it. The view from the top was excellent, really quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!

You can hike up the mountain from Nissaki. It's roughly 850m ascent, 12km one way, 4 hours to the top, 3 hours back. Walk is on a road, asphalt on the first halt and the final bit, unpaved gravel in the middle. Incline is rather mild. There are no trees after you leave the village to the top, so i... More

A fairly long drive up a small winding road. But all the roads in Corfu are such. An excellent view in every direction. Darling lovable cats live around the church.

Visited in September 2016, used Vlaseros travel from Sidari to get there. Great views over the whole of the island and over to Albania. Such a shame that the government hav allowed radio masts to be erected over the monastery and the summit itself, great shame.

Would rate 5 stars if it weren't for the many and massive antennae around the summit. There would be a 360 degree unblocked view which is nevertheless spectacular. There were a lot of cute kittens (at least 10) hanging around the church at the summit (if you like cats). The church (or chapel) is interesting inside, an unexpected intricate interior.... More
