The museum had a lot of exhibits from the mycenean era and the eastern roman era. It is easy to reach and has a lot of parking places. The ticket could be a bit cheaper (it was 6 Euro).

Ok- one normally goes to Patra to visit relatives go to Olympia or shop -the shopping is good here. Now we have discovered a really cool museum thanks to some local advice. It was impressive and worth a look if in Patra. The entry price...More

intrestinv place with mozzaiks, old vases, figures and also ceramic lamps with erotic scenes :P its quite small. For students entrance is free. For me after Delphi, Myckens nothing special.

When you enter the building you wonder why the ceilings are so high, but soon you realize that there is a runway at the first floor level that allow you to admire the mosaics from there.
