I wanted so much to visit this cathedral, which shelters fragments of the cross and head of Saint Andrew. I felt something special staying and praying in this place.

Must see for people who like to visit monumental buildings and churches. The large center piece chandelier is great to see.

We were walking by and couldn't missed the chance to visit this place! They say that the old wooden cross the keep under the glass is actually the one apostle Andreas was crucified on! Pretty amazing!

Amazing church - detail in mosaic domed ceilings & icons were truly amazing. Huge carved wooden chandeliers were spectacular.

This is well worth a visit - the cathedral is purported to contain the bones of St Andrew- apart from his finger which went to Scotland in the 1960’s. It’s a beautiful building and well kept and a delight to visit.

One of the biggest Greek orthodox churches, devoted to St Andrew.Really beautiful but personally I prefer more the small old church which is exactly next to it.
