A family friendly, sandy beach with 1-2 beach bars and some really good taverns with seafood above.
Partly organized with sinners and umbrellas will love it especially if with kids.
Not sure if a lifeguard is available.

The beach is sandy and nice, gets deep within a few meters. There are currents which take you southwards, but not strong. Tavern and cafes offer beach chairs and sun umbrellas for taking a refreshment, which is brought to you. The water is a little cooler than other places.

If you like waves, here you are. The sand was clean, there was ample space and the sea very clear. If you are afraid of waves, perhaps go tot the other side of the island.

We visited Skyros and were told that Molos is the most “in” beach of the island. Noway.
Old fashion beach , medium quality.
By far better sea you can find in Acherounes amd kyra Panagia.

Although the beach is nice and quite clean, the taverns are all awful! "Istories tou barba" and "Kokalenia" should soon get a visit from the Health Department inspectors because both are full of flies and dirty dishes.
The rooms in Kokalenia are awful, built approximately 60 years ago and probably never renovated ever since. There is lack of basic infrastructure, the cleaning standards are terrible and no wonder there is no internet site since there is absolutely nothing to charge the amount of money they charge. It's definitely the worst place I ever stayed and having lived in downtown Cairo that does mean something! Just terrible!!!

A great choice for a short-distance beach.Crystal clear water, sandy and clean. There is a beach bar/restaurant and the ombrella's set is free!I really enjoyed swimming with the view of the Castle (Chora). Recommended!

This is the beach of the village of Molos, which is next to the chora (main village, "capital" of a Greek island) of Skyros. It is a very good beach for sunbathing as it is sandy - but be careful in the water, there may be urchins. There are cafes and bars on the beach, there are fishing boats creating beautiful views, and from the beach you can see the magnificent chora of Skyros, with the church and the Venetian castle on top and the snow-white houses below - Skyros, interestingly enough, is an island that is distanced from the Cyclades but has Cycladic architecture. Note that you can also have marvelous views of the beach itself and the village of Molos and the surrounding landscape from the Venetian castle, when you climb to the top of it, a must-do exercise.

We were in Magazia, which abuts Molos, so the beaches are continuous between the two. I only give Molos 4 stars because there is some audible music from Juicy, the bar overlooking the beach. As I prefer a peaceful beach with only the waves for background, that was the only knock on it. Inexpensive kayak (2 Euros/30 min for a single and 4 Euros/30 min for a double) rentals were available. Also some nice restaurants overlooking the beach where we saw the full moon rise over the water our first night. Another plus was the fact that beach chairs were (try this in Mykonos!) free as long as you ordered something from the bar (soft drinks included). Nice and relaxing and good to walk along.

This was that kind of beach that you want to visit during all your vacation. Respectful stuff - very pleasant people with a good sense of humor. Very comfortable furniture. Excellent cocktails and fruit salad. And exactly that kind of music that you want to hear at the beach!

Great choice if you don't want to go far from the town. Perfect if you have children.
The sea the restaurants and the bars can keep you there from morning till late night.
