3 families with 4 children arrived there on a weekday at 10.30 in the morning.... we go to sit down and a very rude gentleman comes and informs us.... that we can sit on his sunbeds only if we eat lunch in his shop... .. I tell him yes, we don't have a problem, little children, we have everything and we'll get something.... as long as it's enough, he tells me it's 20 euros for each person.... I ask, do you have coffee? yes....it says frappe and Greek...if you want something else, I don't have it....

I'll start with the positives: The sea of this bay has spectacular colors, it looks like a pool. The sea is light blue and transparent and, for the first few meters, sandy, so entering the water very pleasant. We had lunch at the adjacent tavern and ate a great fresh fish.
Negative notes: we arrived around ten and there was hardly anyone at the beach but... almost all umbrellas were booked! There were only two free umbrellas, managed by the tavern.

The beach is very beautiful indeed, but it gets one star and this because I can not put less as it exploits the coast an unacceptable shop.We visited at ten in the morning, the sunbeds were all empty though they did not let us sit in none as as they told us were all reserve.

Nice beach with a crystal clear water and interesting bottom for snorkeling but there were few sailing ships and one anchored big yacht which disturbed the atmosphere.

It was afternoon and we were returning from the beach and we decided to eat on the way. I native friend had told us about this restaurant that it has nice food but the service is a bit rude. We didn't even get to the point of sitting down. We have never been greeted in such an unfriendly way ever. I found it ridiculous that I would pay anything and be treated with such rudeness. We just left.

A remarkable Beach on the island of skyros. There you will be able to hang out and enjoy your bath with quietness and to walk or swim next to the rocks until one still small beach. Also has a few lounge chairs and one Rotisserie just back that you can eat in Nice surroundings looking at the sea.

Only a 15 minutes drive from the Town of Skiros, this is a beautiful calm beach.
The drive there takes you through a kind of forest and then suddenly the road is surrounded (literally) by pine trees.
And suddenly, found down the cliff you can see the beautiful beach. You can park the car right at the beach.
There is a typical tavern there that serves everything you need. Fish, Greek salads, grilled cheese, etc. The price is quite fair and the service friendly as in the rest of the island. They have some 6 straw-umbrellas with lazy chairs, which you can use for free.
The beach itself is partly sand partly rocks (pebbles) and there is a lot of algae, but no waves.
We enjoyed the beach from some hours with an open tab in the tavern for some hours.

Nice sandy beach whivh you have to walk down steps to get to. There are sunbeds already there but when we eent we were really botheted bu flies so not sure if tnere is a rubbish tip nearby. We also found tne sand a bit dirty and full of cigarrette ends so is hardly pristine. The sea was clean but it was a bit pebbly to get into and was a bit colder on this side of the island.

I ve read so many good reviews about this beach and I have to admit although the drive till there was unforgettable (pine trees everywhere ) and beautiful view over the sea , the sea wasn't something exceptional. Half of the beach difficult to get into the water because of rocks and sea urchin.
